Portal Presets
Direct answer: a preset loads a portal's size window and dimensions into the right tool in one tap — and on KBExact every published preset names the official notification it was read from and the date it was checked. A preset we have not verified yet runs in manual mode and says so on its card. We would rather show you an honest "not yet" than a number copied from a rival whose own pages disagree with each other.

Live photo capture — there is no photo upload. No photo upload exists: the application captures your photograph live. Do not upload a photograph of a photograph — the notice forbids it.

Physical ICAO spec (verified): colour photo, 35–40 mm wide, face taking up 70–80% of the photo, taken within the last 6 months. No EU-wide digital KB or pixel values exist — upload limits are set by each consulate/application centre and vary.

Why presets carry sources and dates
Portal specifications change between recruitment cycles, and the internet is full of tool pages quoting last year's numbers — sometimes contradicting themselves from one page to the next. Our rule is strict: a preset ships with numbers only after we have read them in the current official notification ourselves. The source and check date print on the preset card and on its page, so you can verify in one click. Until then, manual mode plus your own notification — which is the document that actually governs your application — is the honest combination.
Spec guides: SSC · UPSC · IBPS · RRB · DS-160 · Schengen. New to the size game? Start with how KB is counted.
