Privacy
Direct answer: your files are never uploaded, stored, or seen by us. Every KBExact tool runs entirely in your browser, on your device. There are no accounts and no file storage. This page describes the small amount of ordinary website data that remains.
Your files
When you drop a PDF or photo into a KBExact tool, the file is read by your own browser and processed locally. It is not transmitted to KBExact or to anyone else — the site is static and has no upload endpoint. When you close the tab, nothing of your file exists anywhere except where you saved the result. Processed results are generated on your device and downloaded by you; we never receive a copy.
What the website itself collects
- Hosting logs. Like almost every website, our static host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operations. These logs never contain your files.
- Analytics. If privacy-respecting aggregate analytics are enabled, they record page-level usage (which tool pages are visited) — never file contents, file names, or results.
- Advertising. When advertising is connected, the ad provider may use cookies to serve and measure ads, under its own policies and your browser's consent controls. Ads are never placed inside a tool's working area, and no file data is ever shared with advertisers — the tools and the ads do not communicate.
- Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply.
Local storage on your device
The tools keep no file data after processing. Your browser may cache the site's code (HTML, scripts) so pages load faster and work offline after the first visit — that cache contains our code, not your documents.
